PRESENTATION FORMATS

TED-style Talks (15 min) Explain an interesting topic through good public speaking and multimedia. Text-heavy slides are kept to a minimum, but visuals that enhance key ideas are encouraged.

Three Minute Messages (3 min) Convince the audience why they should care about your work! Include key ideas to describe the main outcomes of your work and why it matters. Avoid overgeneralizing, and slides (if used) should enhance your message.

Interactive talks (10 min) A more hands-on talk to engage the audience using props or short actvities.

Demonstrations (45 min) An alternative to a traditional poster session, we are holding an expo. Hands-on demonstrations of equipment, computer software, and websites; displays of educational or outreach materials, new reports or technical documents; or other creative interactive demonstrations encouraged

Multiple breakout sessions will be held simultaneously. We will make our best efforts to get participants their top choices for breakout sessions.
